About the role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Head of EMEA Partner Technical Enablement Manager (Channel-ECO-System).

This is a fantastic opportunity to help design and define our channel ecosystem strategy for the EMEA region. You will consult with both Country leaders and Global Channel Leaders, and you will be tasked to build a team to help drive the continued growth or our regional Partner network.

This position can be based in Mainland Europe, (e.g. Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, UK, Benelux, Nordics), you must be willing to travel approximately 35% of the time across the region to visit partners and customers.

Area of responsibility

  • You will collaborate with your team to develop a long-term, goal-oriented, and market-driven technical enablement strategy for the partner business in EMEA.
  • Based on this strategy and the market and competitive analyses prepared by your team, you will segment the market and derive corresponding individual measures, initiatives, and campaigns.
  • You will share responsibility for the success of the Channel-ECO-System and make a significant contribution to transforming the partner landscape into cloud business.
  • You will enjoy working directly with our partners, their customers, and our software development, as well as international specialists from various fields.
  • Enablement and motivation of partners are also part of your portfolio: coaching their employees, ensuring a shared direction, and supporting the implementation of Pre-sales, Customer Success and Service activities.
  • You identify with your partners' business and actively seek opportunities to expand their business

Your qualifications

  • You are proficient in facilitating the empowerment and enablement of channel partners and internal stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and maximizing software sales opportunities.
  • You have experience in consulting on complex processes.
  • You possess industry and (PLM / CAD / Simulation) process knowledge in relevant fields/industries e.g. Industrial Machinery, Aerospace, Automotive
  • You bring several years of experience and success in PreSales or similar technical roles.
  • You adeptly apply standard methods like Challenger Sales, Value Selling, Prescriptive Selling, Demo2Win, etc.
  • You have demonstrably strong skills in customer interaction and leading complex engagements.
  • You find it easy to establish networks and aspire to bring added value to the team.
  • Leader skills are crucial (e.g., teamwork, entrepreneurial thinking and acting), as well as the ability to think anew within the ECO-System and develop the team accordingly. We welcome existing leadership experience.
  • An understanding of our Digital Threads and the Siemens Xcelerator portfolio is advantageous.
