About

YOUR MISSION:

As the Head of Inhouse Tech (IT) at Parloa, your primary mission is to lead and manage the company's IT strategy and operations, ensuring the effective and efficient use of technology to support our business goals. You will oversee the IT department, including infrastructure, network security, software maintenance, and technical support. Your role involves aligning IT initiatives with our organisational objectives, optimising / automating IT processes, and driving innovation to enhance productivity and business performance. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining robust cybersecurity measures, managing IT budgets, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the IT team.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
  • Leading and developing the IT team, including the training of staff
  • Scheduling and resource planning for the IT team and external service providers
  • Monitoring and controlling IT projects in terms of budgets, time, and quality
  • Developing IT strategies and IT security as well as their adequate implementation
  • Planning, implementing, and controlling IT processes, managing licenses, as well as being responsible for the introduction and implementation of efficiency-enhancing processes in the IT area
  • Drive procurement for hardware and software, as well as their smooth installation/commissioning, maintenance, and care
  • Improving the Workplace Technology by maintaining the Office Meeting Rooms
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
  • Completed studies (Bachelor, Master, Diploma, etc.) or a comparable professional qualification
  • 10+ years of experience in IT including 5+ years of leadership experience
  • Experience managing IT for a company with a 400-500 headcount including offices in multiple countries
  • Knowledgeable in ITIL, ITSM, COBIT
  • Experienced in translating and implementing compliance requirements into IT, e.g. IS27001, etc.
  • Experienced in formulating Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity procedures and testing their effectiveness
  • Experienced with IAM Solutions (Okta), G-Workspace, MDM (Kandji, Intune), Notion, Jira Service Management, MS Administration, Azure, GCP
  • Experienced in hardware and software troubleshooting (MacOS, Windows, iOS, Android)
  • Working onsite in Berlin or open to relocate to Berlin
