About

Stellenbeschreibung As System Architect for Battery Systems (m/f/d) you are responsible for architecture and derivation of system requirements for new battery & PV products, but also for supporting maintenance of existing products. You analyze customer needs and derive requirements, build and rank potential solutions, coordinate decision finding processes within the project team and coordinate or handle the implementation by yourself into our products. The position is within a dedicated team, chips in significantly in crafting smart Viessmann products matching the expectations of a rapidly growing market for PV and Storage, and e-mobility solutions.

Your impact technical lead in system development projects for battery storage & PV systems development of system architectures considering internal and external requirements, creation of hard-/software concepts, identification of development potential and taking care of related documentation provide know-how to support of other departments or teams accompanying battery systems in the market (e.g. Technical Service, Training modules). Identify and coordination of work packages with internal departments and/or external partners (e.g. research institutes, suppliers, etc.) tracking of cost figures of components and subsystems with purchasing, cost optimization of systems support in planning, organization and documentation of certification process of new products and also re-certification for existing products.

Who you are You have profound experience in systems engineering, are familiar in working along the V-Model and have a long term, detailed knowledge in hard- and software development for battery & PV systems. A mentality of flexibility, initiative, responsibility and strong interpersonal skills, set you apart. PhD or master’s degree in electrical engineering, energy management systems or similar qualification expert knowledge and proven experience in development of electrical energy storage systems technology including coupling with PV systems, integrated batteries, charging systems, inverter technology and/or e-mobility applied knowledge in life cycle management and familiar with tools such as Siemens Polarion or Atlassian Jira language proficiency (C1 level) in English and in German (B2 level).
