As we continue expanding our marketing capabilities, we’re looking for a Senior Content Strategist & Copy Lead to help shape how we tell brand stories—both for our clients and for Big Human itself. About the Role

We are looking for a strategic, creative and detail-oriented writer who can own content strategy, editorial management and copywriting across various projects. This role will focus on client work and Big Human’s own brand marketing, ensuring high-quality content across websites, blogs and marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate is both a skilled writer and a content manager—someone who can craft compelling copy as well as assign and edit content. Many of our projects are rooted in building something from the ground up, so you should be a creative thinker who can also make strategic recommendations. You’ll be working on website copy, landing pages, editorial strategy and other creative endeavors, ensuring our clients’ and Big Human’s messaging is engaging, clear and optimized for performance. This is a mid-to-senior-level role reporting to the Director of Marketing. What You’ll Do

Content Strategy & Execution

Develop and execute content strategies, ranging from strategic direction of voice & tone down to the nitty gritty details like copy editing for consistency Write and edit high-quality website copy, blog content and landing pages. Provide strategic recommendations on messaging, audience targeting and positioning. Editorial & Content Management

Assign, edit and manage editorial content across blogs, websites and marketing materials. Work with freelancers, designers, and other stakeholders to produce content that fits within broader brand and marketing goals. Oversee content calendars and ensure deadlines are met. Marketing & Amplification

Collaborate with multiple stakeholders across departments, as well as Product Managers, to create cohesive brand messaging. Help shape Big Human’s own marketing initiatives, making sure our brand voice stands out in the digital space. Support social media, email and creative campaign content by crafting compelling headlines, captions and scripts. Who You Are

5+ years of experience in content strategy, copywriting and/or editorial management. A strong writer and editor with a portfolio of website copy, blog content and marketing materials. Experience writing for digital experiences, with a baseline understanding of UX writing. Ability to think strategically, offering recommendations on messaging, audience alignment and positioning. Organized and detail-oriented, able to manage content workflows and editorial processes. A team player who collaborates well with designers, developers and marketers. Bonus Points… Familiarity with SEO best practices and content performance analytics. Hands-on experience with content management systems like WordPress or Contently (or similar).
