About

Group Data Team

Within GETD, the Group Data department aims to:



  1. Define the ambition and strategy on Data for the AXA Group as part of the overall Tech, Data & Operations Strategy

  2. Ideate, prototype, co-fund and develop initiatives (PoCs, PoVs, Pilots) and business projects on business challenges applying Data in collaboration and co-creation with entities and strategic partners

  3. Develop knowledge and define best practices, functional/technical frameworks, toolboxes, standards, blueprints on Data

  4. Facilitate communities on Data both internally in AXA as well as externally; challenge and support business communities on their ambition to leverage Data

  5. Drive data governance, monitor maturity progress and provide guidelines and hands-on support to enhance on all aspects related to Data to Entities, Markets and Group


The domains on which the department brings leadership, expertise and community management are:



  • Data & AI Strategy, as the overarching umbrella, through governance involving Chief Data & Analytics Officers, Business Leaders, COO/CIOs, Compliance/Risk/Security

  • Data & AI Culture, through a collaboration with the HR and Communication functions as well as Business Leaders, leveraging the community of local Heads of Data Culture

  • Data Management, covering Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Documentation, Data Risks, leveraging the local Heads of Data Management Offices, evolving to integrate AI - and GenAI

  • Data & AI Products, covering in 24-26 the design, orchestration and delivery of Data & AI Products across AXA entities and Group, unlocking the access to data & AI across domains (by design silo-ed)


Purpose of the Job

The purpose is to increase data & AI culture across AXA



Main Activities - G16 entities scope

  • Drive AXA's Data Culture Strategy, close to the Group CDO Corporate Function, covering ambition with regards to data & AI culture, evaluation of current situation and levers to move forward across AXA; levers will typically relate to organizational design, incentive model, communication, training, talent management

  • Define and drive necessary governance and collaboration system, notably by involving the data, operations, IT, business, HR, and communication functions

  • Support entities in the implementation of levers, from local Executive Committees to the animation of the network of Heads of Data Culture and HEC program alumni network


Minimum Requirements:


  • Senior executive, with extensive knowledge of and experience, in large complex organizations, in the strategic design and implementation of:

  • Change management

  • Learning & development

  • Organizational design

  • Experience in the operational implementation of data & analytics use cases, data management - in the Insurance value chain

  • Ability to choose appropriate tools within Change Management market practices

  • Ability to communicate to, mobilize, and coordinate a network of stakeholders from various backgrounds, starting at senior executive level

  • Intellectual curiosity, and taste for innovation

  • Ability to see the big picture as well as deep dive into details when necessary, applying systems thinking

  • Team player in a multi-cultural work environment

  • English - Fluent in speaking and writing
