Head of controls and sensor technology (all genders)

For our client, a successful manufacturing and research company in the field of hydraulics, we are currently looking for a Head of Control and Sensor Technology Development in North-Rhine Westphalia. As a department leader, you should be willing to travel frequently to China and manage a team of 5-7 employees.

• Manage a team of 5-7 employees (temporary workers, students, project engineers)
• Responsible for developing new innovative, technological systems and projects
• Approve budgets
• Planning of test trials, simulations, and calculations
• Travel to China a few times per year (sometimes 4-6 weeks per project)
• Lead project operations and conduct cost calculations

• Experience in project management and cost and budget calculation
• PhD (in control and regulation technology, fluid technology, or similar)
• Fluent English skills in speech and writing for internal and external communication
• Good German language skills are nice to have but not mandatory
• Initial leadership experience
• Broad basic knowledge in hydraulics/pneumatics or automation technology
• Technical experience in measurement, control, and regulation technology
