Your responsibilities

  • Design and develop the data models with the ETL Pipelines and architectures we need within the operational business lines in the COO area and support its data analytics and reporting needs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and develop data models solutions that meet those requirements
  • Define and document data standards, data policies, and data governance processes to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of the data assets in the operational business lines
  • Manage the entire data lifecycle, including data modeling, database design, data integration, data quality, and data security
  • Ensure that data architectures and models are scalable, maintainable, and extensible to support the current and future portfolio needs and prepare us to
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team to ensure that data architectures and models are implemented correctly
  • Ensure that the data governance framework of Uniper is followed in the COO area
  • Provide input and recommendations into our learning platform support improving Uniper’s data capabilities

Your profile

  • Master’s degree in Information Technology, Economics, Information Systems, Statistics, Applied Math, Business Administration, or any other related field
  • At least 10 years of working experience in a data engineering, ETL/ELT processes and preferably working as a Senior Data architect in a fast-paced and complex business setting
  • Demonstrate working according to the Uniper Way
  • Demonstrated experience building and developing ETL pipelines, dimensional data models, and data warehouse solutions
  • Microsoft MCP Solution Architect, Snowpro Core certification, Snowpro Advanced Architect
  • Candidate will further demonstrate skills in database design, data integration, data architecture, data warehousing, dimensional modelling regarding Kimball, data mesh
  • Candidate must also be highly skilled in the use of SQL, Snowflake, Python, Azure Data Factory
  • Experience in a practical way with talend jobs and batch accounts
  • Understand A/B testing as well as vast knowledge in the identification of key metrics that measure and drive long-term health of the business
  • Hands-on experience on data modelling at both conceptual and physical level. Experience using some modelling tool such as Oracle modeler or others
  • Data analytics/data science skills. Experience with Python (pandas, scikit-learn, Keras, TensorFlow)
  • Hardworking, persistent, dependable with ability to get things done
  • Ability to empower people to reach higher standards
  • Business fluency in English, other languages advantageous
