• As a Team Lead (m/f/x), you will lead and take responsibility for your team in terms of personnel, content, and finances according to business management aspects and thus control your organizational unit in its entirety.
• We see you as a driving force in the further development of your team, the establishment and expansion of topic-specific services as well as the generation of visions and innovative achievements - always in line with the new strategy orientation of Mercedes-Benz Tech Innovation.
• As part of software development, you will successfully position your team in the international network of Mercedes-Benz Tech Hubs (Home of Tech) and ensure globally scaled software development.
• The core competencies of your team lie in the integration of a data-driven mindset in international full-stack vehicle software development projects of Mercedes-Benz Tech Innovation, the generation of added value from vehicle data, and the driving of innovation topics around the topic of data. As a Team Lead (m/f/x), you will act as a source of inspiration and proactively communicate potentials and improvements and measure the success of strategic initiatives.

• You have a degree in computer science, business informatics, or other engineering courses as well as several years of professional experience in IT-specific corporate roles with management responsibility.
• You have a passion for data-driven software solutions as well as in-depth knowledge of software engineering and can refer to successful industrial projects.
• You have an intrinsic motivation to promote innovations in vehicle development, support the further development of your employees, and promote a culture of recognition and appreciation.
• You have already gained experience in leading and strategically aligning distributed agile development teams as well as in dealing with international partners and teams.
• You have very good knowledge of agile software methods.
• You are characterized by an entrepreneurial and results-oriented ability to think and act, and you have an excellent understanding of processes, a wealth of ideas, and a strong service orientation.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken, is a prerequisite.
