Senior Backend Developer (Java)

The Beyond Beauty Club (BBC) will develop into an exclusive conglomerate of beauty-tech brands with the mission of leading through consumer centricity and technology to bring our consumers around the world personalised and relevant products. The brands within the BBC will focus on internal and external beauty, driven by the power of technology. Our leading brand, Simon Ourian M.D. brings Simon Ourian’s expertise as an acclaimed international beauty expert to the comfort of everyone’s home direct sales to consumer.

As a Senior Fullstack Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our digital products along side your colleagues at Beyond Beauty Club.

• You are, together with the team, an important building block to transforming complex use cases into simple user experiences
• You are developing and maintaining applications that thousands of users interact with each day
• You're writing and testing clean, maintainable, and secure code and supporting the testing and release process
• You provide helpful, tactful, and critical feedback for your pull requests
• You are coaching/mentoring new tech team members and supporting them in their growth and are involved with hiring

The ideal candidate is a senior engineer with a track record in Tech Startups. You can see the big picture, and you are also organized, communicative, and excited about the opportunity to become an integral member of a tight, but growing team.

Our Tech Stack includes:

• Frontend: Typescript (React & React Native, Svelte)
• Backend: Java / Kotlin (Spring Boot)

• 3+ years of professional experience in software development system architecture and integration within cross-functional teams.
• You figure out how to apply agile/modern software development methodologies, technologies and tools for you and your team

• Bachelor’s Degree or above in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent training/certification is an advantage. However, experience is more important to us.
