Laboratory Engineer in sensor technology

We are currently looking for a Lab Technician - Sensor Technology to support an R&D project in the field of measurement systems and data analysis. This is a hands-on lab-based role ideal for someone with strong practical experience in executing measurement campaigns and experimental setups.
Your Responsibilities

• Preparation and handling of test devices
• Execution of measurement campaigns with data acquisition
• Validation and analysis of measurement data
• Assessment of measurement uncertainty
• Structured documentation of test results
• Collaboration with R&D engineers and project leads
• Maintain a high level of reliability and structured work ethic
• Work primarily on-site in our lab in Hinwil, with up to 20% remote flexibility

What You Bring

• Completed education in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar
• 3-4 years of professional experience in:
• Experimental design and laboratory setup
• Measurement execution and test equipment handling
• Data validation, analysis, and uncertainty assessment
• Experience with Matlab (1-3 years)
• Basic knowledge of Python; LabView is a plus
• Strong team player with a hands-on mentality
• Fluent in English (spoken and written); German is a plus
• Experience with ultrasonic measurements is an advantage, but not required
