*SECOND SHIFT -*
Be a lead member and technical expert of the Maintenance Team with the essential role of performing the corrective, preventive, predictive, and improvement needed maintenance activities to guaranty operational continuity of the industrial installations; as well as support and assist the production and quality teams in the execution of plant-wide activities related to equipment and installations.
Main Responsibilities:
* Ensure the compliance of the safety goals, by applying safety policies and procedures; and implement or execute the needed corrective and preventative safety/environmental activities or action. Ensure the proper understanding and application of safety and environmental policies and procedures by all personnel in his/her area of influence.
* Ensure the safe execution of all maintenance activities performed by the maintenance team, including supervising contractors.
* Ensure prompt correction of unsafe conditions and promote safe behaviors in the personnel in his/her area of influence.
* Define, develop, and execute maintenance inspection and maintenance preventative plans in quality and quantity to assure achieving the maintenance performance goals.
* Actively performing failure and root cause analysis, focusing on the maintenance "ABC" of significant failures. Proposing and executing the proper corrective action plan to eliminate or reduce the root causes or their impact.
* Assess, define, and execute all needed maintenance activities to recover operational continuity of the industrial installation in the event of any unforeseen equipment or system failure, malfunction, and breakdown.
* Report and provided all needed and relevant data and information regarding maintenance plans, maintenance activities, malfunctions, and failures through the appropriate reporting tools to facilitate the understanding and analysis of the event.
* Plan and execute work order assigned to him/her focus on the safety, quality, and productivity of the work performed. Report progress, findings, related recommendation, and completion of the work in the appropriate assigned systems.
* Being a technical reference for the equipment and system in the industrial facility; sharing his/her technical knowledge with the rest of the personnel
* Being a technical reference among the operational team and actively participate and collaborate with Production teams in solving production problems (Quality rejects, CTT, CTR, Changeovers, Operative interruption).
* Technically supervising the maintenance activities performed by third parties in the area under his/her responsibility; assuring safety, quality, and productivity while performing the activities.
Skills:
* Knowledge of hydraulic systems and equipment (hydraulic diagrams and drawings interpretation; hydraulic filtration and conditioning systems; directional, proportional, and servo valve systems; hydraulic capsules)
* Knowledge of mechanical transmission equipment (gearboxes, bearings, couplings, precision alignment, universal joints, safety coupling, hydraulic actuators)
* Knowledge of pneumatic equipment (pneumatic diagrams and drawings interpretation; pneumatic actuators; pneumatic filtration and conditioning systems; pneumatic valves)
* Knowledge in process and fluid equipment and system (pumps, filters, heat exchangers, compressors)
* Knowledge of lubrication theory and systems (grease types for complex applications; force and/or positive grease and oil systems; oil analysis and interpretation of oil analysis results)
* Knowledge of equipment inspection techniques (equipment condition detection techniques)
* Knowledge of power distribution and motor control systems (medium voltage power distribution lines, transformers, contactors, breakers, motors)
* Knowledge of arc welding carbon steel, and stainless steel (desired)
* Basic Knowledge of digital/electrical control systems
* Basic knowledge of Laith operations
Education:
Associate degree in Industrial Mechanic Technology, or
Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology, or
Associate degree in Mechanical Technology, or
Equivalent years of relevant experience.
Experience:
2 to 3 years operating or maintaining manufacturing system, or relevant equivalent experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
