About

Mercor is looking for experienced materials-science professionals to work on Project Atlas, aimed at building realistic environments for AI training. With a focus on expertise in materials R&D, you'll create digital workspaces that reflect everyday tasks and workflows. The ideal candidate will hold an MS/PhD and possess over 3 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include designing multi-step tasks that challenge frontier AI agents and collaborating with other experts to enhance AI benchmarks. Compensation will transition from hourly rates to a model based on quality work output.
