About the Role We are looking for a skilled Protection Relay Testing & Commissioning Engineer with hands‑on experience in substation projects, protection relays, and electrical testing. The candidate will be responsible for testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of protection systems in substations and power plants.
Key Responsibilities
Perform testing and commissioning of protection relays, switchgear panels, transformers, and control systems
Conduct primary and secondary injection testing using Vebko, OMICRON, Megger, and other advanced testing kits
Execute specialized tests including Tan Delta, CRM, Breaker Timing, and HV/LV testing
Carry out substation equipment testing (CT, PT, transformers, circuit breakers)
Optimize relay coordination, settings, and protection schemes
Prepare detailed test reports and technical documentation
Commission HV panels and substation automation systems
Provide on‑site technical support and troubleshooting
Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality procedures
Coordinate effectively with clients and site teams
What We’re Looking For Minimum 1 year (ideal 13 years) in relay testing & commissioning / power system protection
Core Skills Tan Delta, CRM, Breaker Timing, Isolator, CT/PT testing • Relay coordination • HV panel commissioning • HT/LV/Switchgear & Transformer testing • ISA / SCOPE / Crest kits • OMICRON Test Universe • substation automation
Soft Skills Strong problem solving, clear communication, teamwork, willingness to travel
