About

Job Overview We’re seeking a detail-oriented Finance & Accounting Specialist to support day-to-day financial operations and reporting. In this role, you’ll handle bookkeeping, reconciliations, AR/AP processes, and assist with financial reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance with IFRS or GAAP standards.
You’ll work closely with internal teams and vendors to maintain smooth financial operations, resolve discrepancies, and support timely payments. This role is ideal for someone highly organized, Excel-proficient, and comfortable working with ERP systems in a fast-paced, remote environment aligned with EST hours.
Core Tasks
Assist with monthly and quarterly bookkeeping and reporting
Create and provide custom/ad-hoc reporting, including budget-to-actual reports
Manage outreach to suppliers/vendors to facilitate on-time payment
Properly book and manage expenses and income for accurate reporting
Reconcile accounts, including bank and credit card statements, to ensure accuracy
Assist in preparing financial statements and maintaining general ledger accounts
Track and resolve discrepancies in accounts receivable / payable
Support payroll processing and related compliance documentation
Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with company policies
Assist with other projects as needed
Must Haves
3+ years experience in an AR/AP or junior accounting role
Hands on experience with Hotel Investor Apps (preferred) or similar ERP tools
Proficient knowledge of IFRS or GAAP accounting principles
Exceptional (C-level) verbal and written communication skills
Intermediate-advanced skills in Excel /Google Sheets
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work EST
Nice to Haves
Certification holder in IFRS or GAAP accounting principles
Familiarity with Slack and Zoom for internal team coordination and communication
