Role Overview
We’re seeking a strategic and results-driven
Business Development Manager
to fuel Modeshift’s expansion in the
US market . Working remotely, you will identify new clients, forge key partnerships, and help transit agencies adopt cutting-edge transportation solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Research US transit agencies and market trends to uncover growth opportunities.
Craft go-to-market plans tailored to target segments and customer needs.
Lead Generation & Client Engagement
Prospect and connect with prospective transit agencies and stakeholders.
Build and maintain trust-based relationships with key decision-makers.
Lead discovery conversations, prepare compelling proposals, and negotiate contracts.
Secure pilot projects and enterprise-level deals.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Modeshift’s product, marketing, and engineering teams to align on product offerings and messaging.
Performance & Reporting
Meet sales and growth targets.
Use CRM tools to manage pipeline and deliver regular performance reports.
What We're Looking For
Experience : Proven success in B2B SaaS, mobility, or smart cities sectors.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
Strategic thinker with a customer‑centric mindset.
Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and comfortable working remotely.
Technical Acumen : Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred), transit systems, or SaaS solutions is a plus.
Tools : Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot) and opportunity‑tracking tools.
