Responsibilities
Develop and review comprehensive test plans; execute test plan activities; create test cases, test data, procedures, and test scripts based on functional requirements Coordinate and perform functional, integration, and regression testing. Oversee the defect management process, report issues, and share testing progress with the scrum team and product management. Present product demonstrations to scrum team members, product owners, and management for acceptance and feedback. Track project timelines, report task progress, and identify blockers or impediments affecting work deliverables. Actively engage in scrum ceremonies and contribute to the team's overall success. Organize and manage testing-related user stories and tasks on the scrum board. Serve as a liaison between business, design, development, and testing teams to address EDI-related questions and clarifications. Support test leads/managers in defining and enhancing testing strategies, selecting tools, exploring automation, and improving documentation. Collaborate with federal and contractor leads to clarify requirements and testing scenarios. Assist federal and contractor teams with conducting User Acceptance Testing. Communicate regularly with customers and team members, facilitate discussions, and apply professional judgment as needed. Qualifications
Required Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the IT industry. Advanced expertise in testing EDI transactions, including 837 (I/P/D), 835, 999, 997, 270/271, 277CA, 277RFAI, NCPDP, and more. Proficient in healthcare messaging standards such as HL7 and FHIR. Strong knowledge of EDI layouts, including loops, segments, and data elements. Familiarity with EDI, X12/EDIFACT, and HIPAA requirements. Proficient in writing and executing SQL queries. Skilled at interpreting functional requirements and technical design documents to develop detailed test requirements, user stories, and tasks. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio. Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on experience with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator. Experience with various data exchange protocols, including FTP, SFTP, and AS2. Excellent coordination, communication, reporting, and analytical abilities. Ability to develop comprehensive project and test plans, and to conduct thorough end-to-end testing and validation. Background working on high-visibility, mission-critical Federal projects. Other Qualifications
Demonstrated experience working in a SAFe Agile environment within fast-paced scrum teams. Ability to work efficiently and accurately with cross-functional teams, even in high-pressure situations. Capable of working independently with minimal supervision and exercising expert-level judgment. Exceptional written communication skills and the ability to produce high-quality documentation. Working knowledge and intermediate experience with both Unix and Windows environments. Education
Bachelor\'s Degree in related field of study or an additional 8 years of work experience (total of 13 years experience). Clearance
The ability to pass a Tier 2/Modest Background Investigation. Location
Remote, USA. Pay Range
The suggested pay for this position ranges from $60,240 to $73,500. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
