Summary:
Interface with clients on technical and business issues from project initiation through delivery. Drive program/project schedules and status reports.
Create and/or review multiple functional specifications that will be used as tools in making decisions as to how the product or service will be implemented.
Provide Product Managers & Product Unit Managers with technical and/or analytical information.
Organize cross‑functional activities ensuring the program/project is completed on schedule and within budget constraints.
Typical Day in the Role
Purpose of the Team: Work on P0 priority items – security networking, incident management.
Key projects: Contribute to running projects across OPG; large‑scale products, interact with large groups, drive initiatives across 150 service teams. Include RNR team incident management.
Typical task breakdown: 60% collaboration with outside teams, 40% collaboration within the team.
Program/Execution Skills
Drive end‑to‑end program ownership: roadmaps, dependencies, risks, alignment.
Build and land governance frameworks and program operating rhythms.
Comfortable with ambiguity → structure → action.
Excellent coordination across engineering, finance, PM, leadership.
Data & Analytical Skills
Metrics & telemetry.
Excel/PowerBI (even if not heavy modeling).
Create data‑backed narratives and identify trends/risks.
Top 3 Must‑Have Hard Skills (5–7 years)
Understanding of Azure compute, storage, networking fundamentals.
Expertise in building and managing program roadmaps, dependency trackers, risk logs.
Ability to analyze cost trends, variances, and savings opportunities.
Salary Range:
$128,960 – $137,960 per year.
