About
Resposibilities:
Monitor and investigate security events across systems, networks, and applications
Respond to live incidents, including analysis, escalation, and remediation
Identify vulnerabilities and systemic weaknesses through assessments and testing
Review and apply threat intelligence to reduce risk exposure
Collaborate with engineering and infrastructure teams to strengthen systems
Maintain and optimise monitoring, alerting, and reporting processes
Participate in proactive exercises such as penetration testing and scenario simulations
Contribute to continuous improvement of security operations and platform protections
Skills:
2–4 years’ experience in a hands‑on cyber security role (SOC or systems environment)
Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux systems, and system hardening practices
Familiar with attacker techniques, common TTPs, and detection/response tools
Practical experience investigating alerts and supporting remediation efforts
Proactive, curious, and determined with a problem‑solving mindset
Relevant degree or equivalent practical experience in IT or cyber security
