About
Position Summary
We’reseekinga hands‑on, senior individual contributor to help build and run the Azure platform behind customer‑facing, revenue‑generating digital products. You’ll take standardized platform patterns (IaC, CI/CD, deployment) and turn them into real, running infrastructure that development teams can safely consume at scale. You’ll partner closely with platform architecture leaders (Platform, Network, Identity, Security, Data) who define what gets built—your role is to implement it, operationalize it, and make it repeatable.
Your Impact IaC & Platform Core
Build and govern reusable Terraform/Bicep modules for Azure Landing Zones and resource provisioning.
Implement platform CI/CD pipeline patterns, including state management and drift detection.
Create and manage Azure Policy (including initiative management with EPAC) and enable self‑service consumption for product/vendor teams.
Implement cost guardrails (budgets/alerts) aligned to FinOps practices.
Networking & Security Implementation
Implement hub‑spoke networking across multiple Azure regions and operationalize private connectivity (Private Endpoints, DNS zones, NSG/UDR).
Publish secure external endpoints (Azure Front Door) and implement internal/egress routing patterns (Azure Firewall).
Integrate Sentinel alerting and implement security controls directed by Security/Network architecture.
Integrate Security findings into pipeline workflows, and enforce compliance controls (ISO 27001, GDPR, regional data residency) within CI/CD.
Operations & Reliability
Implement monitoring/alerting/dashboards (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Sentinel, Defender for Cloud, Grafana) and external monitoring.
Support incident response, runbooks, and change/release coordination for platform changes.
Continuous Improvement
Improve delivery performance (lead time, deployment frequency) through standardization and automation.
Help teams adopt standardized pipelines while balancing enablement with guardrails; represent CI/CD automation in architecture review forums.
Who You Are Required Qualifications
5+ years in IT with deep hands‑on experience in Azure DevOps automation and CI/CD best practices.
Strong experience with Terraform, Bicep, GitHub Actions, and GitHub Advanced Security.
Experience supporting customer‑facing, production‑grade digital products.
Strong understanding of secure software delivery and compliance enforcement in pipelines (artifact integrity, signing, provenance).
Comfortable operating with senior autonomy and collaborating with product engineering teams.
Practical, regular use of AI‑assisted tooling (e.g., GitHub Copilot) in production workflows.
FinOps exposure and cost‑aware automation.
Multi‑region Azure experience with data residency constraints.
Experience with Azure Landing Zones (CAF‑aligned) / enterprise‑scale reference architecture and governance forums.
Skills / Competency / Other requirements
Excellent written and spoken English.
Ability to work independently with low‑level supervision and in a global team distributed geographically.
Strong organization skills (set priorities, meets deadlines, multiple simultaneous projects) and excellent documentation skills.
Excellent analytical and diagnostic problem‑solving skills with the ability of providing solutions to identified problems.
Demonstrated experience in understanding, designing, delivering, and demonstrating compliance with information security requirements.
Knowledge and experience in performing information security practices in the management and delivery of infrastructure and operations.
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus but not required.

Compensation: Expected Salary (all locations): $86,100.00 - $150,590.00
WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.
Expected Salary (Colorado only): $86,100.00 - $141,350.00
