Our Client is a Civil Engineering Contractor based in Mid Ulster, known for delivering high-quality infrastructure projects across the UK and Ireland. Their work spans roads, bridges, public realm schemes, sports pitches, airfields, and wind farms, and their reputation is built on excellence, innovation, and a commitment to doing things right. We are now recruiting for an experienced Civil Engineer / Site Engineer to join the team on a private road project in Athlone. This is a greenfield site involving utilities installation, drainage, ducting, and road surfacing. Key Responsibilities Setting out and overseeing works on a greenfield road project Managing utilities installation, drainage, ducting, and surfacing operations Working closely with site management to ensure programme and quality targets are met Ensuring compliance with health & safety standards Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, and the wider project team Maintaining accurate site records and reporting What Were Looking For A few years experience in civil engineering or site engineering Strong working knowledge of GPS equipment, setting out, and machine control Experience with drainage, ducting, utilities, and road construction Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team Strong communication and problem-solving skills A proactive, motivated attitude What We Offer Competitive salary and benefits Opportunity to work with a respected contractor on a high-profile project Supportive team environment with opportunities for long-term progression Exposure to diverse civil engineering projects across the UK & Ireland
