Position Details
- Job Type: Permanent

- Schedule: Monday Friday, full-time
- Call: Shared regional call schedule
- Setting: Outpatient-focused with hospital privileges
- Support Team: Experienced nurses, navigators, and nurse practitioner support
- Develop treatment plans for newly diagnosed hematology and oncology patients
- Provide chemotherapy oversight and ongoing patient management
- Supervise and collaborate with a nurse practitioner for follow-up visits
- Lead multidisciplinary tumor board discussions
- Participate in community-based cancer care while collaborating with regional oncology teams for advanced and late-stage diagnoses
- Accredited cancer center designated as a Community Cancer Program by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer
- Modern facility featuring:

- 8 infusion chairs with 2 private infusion areas
- Patient image renewal spaces and community outreach areas
- Access to multidisciplinary teams including disease-focused medical, surgical, and radiation oncologists
- Collaborative support from a regional multispecialty clinic offering comprehensive services such as primary care, cardiology, radiology, sleep medicine, and rehabilitation
- Integrated Epic EMR across the system
- Built-in referral network ensuring strong patient volume and continuity of care
- Board Certification or Eligibility in Hematology and Oncology
- Active North Carolina medical license or ability to obtain one
