Our client, a well-respected accountancy practice based in Westmeath, is currently seeking an experienced Payroll Senior to join their growing team. The Payroll Senior will play a key role in delivering outsourced payroll services to clients across a wide range of industry sectors, each with their own diverse payroll requirements. This is a fully on-site role, youll be part of a collaborative team supporting accurate, compliant, and efficient payroll operations. Responsibilities: Deliver accurate weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls for a portfolio of clients, ensuring all deadlines are met. Liaise with clients to gather payroll data, resolve queries, and maintain a professional, efficient service. Handle starters, leavers, statutory deductions, pensions, BIK calculations, and tax documentation. Prepare PAYE, PRSI, EFT files, maintain accurate records, and review payroll reports prior to client distribution. Requirements: Minimum 3 years in a fast-paced Irish payroll environment. IPASS or similar payroll certification desirable but not essential. Strong MS Excel skills and experience with payroll software such as Quantum or similar. High accuracy, strong problem-solving ability, and excellent organisational skills. Strong communication skills, confidentiality, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Please note, this role is fully on-site 5 days per week. The successful candidate will be required to travel to the Athlone office Monday to Friday 9am 5:30pm.
