To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Be authorized to work in the United States
  • Not require sponsorship of any kind for the duration of the assignment
  • Be able to work on a W-2 basis.  C2C or 1099 is not permitted for this position
  • Be able to work the following schedule:  Monday – Wednesday, 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Be able to attend training the first week: Monday – Thursday 4:30 PM – 12:30 AM
  • Be eligible for a Pharmacy Technician’s license for the state of Illinois (unless you are already licensed)

Are you ready to play a vital role in ensuring patients receive their medications accurately and efficiently? We’re looking for a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic fulfillment team. In this role, you won’t just process prescriptions; you’ll be at the heart of our operations, directly impacting patient well-being by ensuring timely and precise medication distribution. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining the seamless flow of our fulfillment system, resolving complex issues, and providing exceptional support to both patients and healthcare providers.

Responsibilities:

As a Pharmacy Technician on our fulfillment team, you will be instrumental in the preparation and distribution of essential drug products. Your daily contributions will include:

  • Process prescription exceptions, including resolving claim rejects and facilitating outreach to members and physicians.
  • Accurately enter member demographics and prescription information into the data processing system.
  • Research and resolve rejected insurance billing issues and/or escalated member concerns.
  • Escalate prescription-related questions to a Pharmacist for interpretation or guidance on processing.
  • Assist patients and physicians through inbound and/or outbound calls, providing professional and helpful support.
  • Contribute to various other duties as assigned, ensuring the smooth operation of the pharmacy fulfillment process.

Required Qualifications:

To thrive in this impactful role, you should bring:

  • Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality and productivity standards for services.
  • Intermediate to advanced level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, touch typing, formatting documents)
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Basic level PC skills (for example: start up and shut down the computer, use the mouse to point and click, start and close programs, switch between programs, save files, print documents, and/or access information online).
  • Basic Search Engine skills to include opening a browser, typing in URLs in the correct location, using a search engine, bookmarking a site, navigating using back/forward/stop buttons, and filling out forms online.
  • Willing and able to perform tasks which include pushing, pulling, grasping and lifting with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Willing and able to carry up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Willing and able to work a flexible shift.
  • 18 years of age or older

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $18.00 to $19.00 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
