Pay rate: $47.00 - $50.00 hourly on W2
8-5PM Eastern (flexible - discuss with Mgr for other TimeZone work hours)
Contracts and VM Analyst Sr is needed to help with data processing and negotiations for Software deals (there may be a few telecom deals, but itβs not confirmed yet).
These contractors will be working mostly with Renewals 75% ; 25% New
Volume: 5-10 contracts a month (average $250K) but could be as low as 2 and it could be more if there is no legal involved.
These contractors will own contracts and go through end-to-end life cycle.
Important notes from manager's perspective:
Comfortable with Administrative work because information has to be input to multiple programs, tracked and processes need to be followed.
PowerPoint skills and knowing how to present is VERY important in this Senior level position as this contractor will be expected to present clearly to senior leadership (slides should be clean, informative and precise).
Degrees or certifications required/Years of overall experience required:
Minimum of 7 years related IT work experience (e.g. IT Sourcing, IT Contracts, IT Vendor Relationships).
Bachelor's Degree or higher in a business, legal, or IT related discipline (e.g., MIS, Business Management, Supply Chain/Procurement) and a minimum of 4 years of related IT work experience (e.g. IT Sourcing, IT Contracts, IT Vendor Relationships).
Preferred Skills:
Basic understanding of negotiating software.
Understanding and familiarity with standard contracts and contract terms (MSA/PSA, SaaS Agreements, SOW, Order Forms, Indemnity, Service Level Agreements, etc.).
Ability to research and maintain awareness of emerging technology terms and concepts.
Technically Proficient: Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, One Note, Coupa.
Ability to manage negotiations for multiple contracts concurrently.
Bonus Experience or Skillset:
Telecom contract experience (in case these contracts become available to work on).
AI Legal experience could be a bonus skill set.
Day to day responsibilities:
Handle all aspects of contract negotiations, including partnering with internal stakeholders, Legal, Information Security, Risk & Vendors to facilitate and complete the contract (new engagement/renewal).
Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., vendors, business and platforms).
Identify opportunities for savings.
What's one thing the manager will ABSOLUTELY be looking for on the resume?
Previous experience negotiating and managing software and telecom vendor contracts and engagements.
Great to Have:
Coupa Experience or Workday Experience.
Previous experience working with software vendors, resellers.
