This role serves as a key point of contact for customers and works closely with internal teams to provide accurate information on pricing, delivery, and product availability./ppThis position helps ensure a smooth flow of information between customers and internal departments, supports timely order processing, and assists in resolving issues that may impact customer experience. The role also contributes to sales forecasting activities, supports overall business and revenue objectives, and requires regular travel to support customer relationships and business needs./ppSuccess in this role requires strong organization, responsiveness, attention to detail, and consistent follow-up. This role is accountable for the accuracy of orders, responsiveness to customers, and effective coordination across internal teams./ph3Key Responsibilities:/h3ulliServe as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries by phone and email/liliProvide customers with pricing, delivery, and product information/liliPrepare and follow up on product quotations/liliSupport preliminary RFQ activity, including gathering qualifying information and tracking RFQs through the system prior to quote stage/liliEnter customer orders and delivery changes into JD Edwards/liliVerify order delivery dates and support resolution of delivery delays/liliResearch, clarify, and resolve customer issues in coordination with Production Control, Purchasing, Accounting, Warehouse, and other internal teams/liliSupport return authorizations and customer repair activity through the process until resolution/liliMaintain customer account information, including part number cross references, sales information, contract delivery details, lead times, and reorder timing/liliSupport monthly sales forecast activities and contribute data for forecasting efforts/liliPrepare reports and spreadsheets to support sales activity, customer visits, and internal tracking/liliReview open orders, purchase orders, and pricing history to support order management and issue identification/liliCommunicate unresolved or elevated customer issues through appropriate channels/liliSupport domestic and international order documentation, including trade compliance requirements as applicable/liliPartner with internal teams to communicate customer needs and support day-to-day account activity/liliDevelop and maintain a working knowledge of products, applications, and customer use cases/liliProvide feedback to internal teams on customer issues, product performance, and recurring trends/liliTravel to support customer meetings, relationship management, and business needs/liliComply with safety policies, procedures, and clean room protocols as required/li/ulh3Education Experience:/h3ulliAssociate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required/liliFour years of related experience and/or training may be considered in place of a degree/liliExperience in customer service, order management, inside sales support, or a related role in a manufacturing or technical environment preferred/liliJD Edwards preferred/liliExperience supporting domestic and international orders preferred/li/ulh3Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:/h3ulliStrong customer and people-focused mindset, with an understanding of how responsiveness and follow-through impact the business/liliDemonstrated ability to respond in a timely and professional manner and maintain clear communication with customers and internal stakeholders/liliStrong follow-up and follow-through to ensure issues, requests, and commitments are carried through to completion/liliAbility to build and maintain effective working relationships across departments/liliStrong organizational skills and attention to detail/liliAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment/liliProficiency in Excel and other standard business software/liliAbility to research issues, identify solutions, and escalate concerns appropriately/liliStrong written and verbal communication skills/liliAbility to work with pricing, delivery, and order information accurately and efficiently/li/ulh3Working Conditions Physical Demands:/h3ulliProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer/liliFrequent use of standard office equipment and ERP systems/liliMust be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally/liliRegular travel required to support customer meetings and business needs/liliInteraction with manufacturing environments, including warehouse and production areas/liliMust comply with clean room protocols when entering controlled environments/li/ulpAre you ready to join a different kind of company where our people, our culture, and our commitments are centered around providing trusted solutions that improve lives around the world?/ppTotal Rewards/ppThe compensation range for this position is $69,200.00 - $103,800.00, depending on experience.
