divh2Certified Medication Aide (CMA)/h2pBalance Life Work with a New Career Opportunity/ppstrong(ASSISTED LIVING)/strong/ppstrong(MEMORY CARE)/strong/ppstrongSalary Range from $21.00 - $25.00 an hour/strong/ppNow Hiring - strongCertified Medication Aide (CMA) - Cherry Hill, NJ/strong/ppstrongHarmony Village at CareOne Cherry Hill/strong/ppThe strongCertified Medication Aide (CMA)/strong will be responsible for, but not limited to:/polliProvide medication administration to residents under direction of RN./liliProvide patients personal hygiene by giving bedpans, urinals, baths, back rubs, shampoos, and shaves; assisting with travel to the bathroom; helping with showers and baths./liliProvide for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary; ambulating, turning, and positioning patients; providing fresh water and nourishment between meals./liliProvide adjunct care by administering enemas, douches, non-sterile dressings, surgical preps, ice packs, heat treatments, sits and therapeutic baths, applying restraints./liliMaintain patient stability by checking vital signs and weight; testing urine; recording intake and output information./liliProvide patient comfort by utilizing resources and materials; transporting patients; answering patients call lights and requests; reporting observations of the patient to nursing supervisor./liliDocument actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records./liliMaintain work operations by following policies and procedures./liliServe and protects the hospital community by adhering to professional standards, hospital policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements, and JCHAO standards./liliUpdate job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; participating in professional organizations; maintaining licensure./liliEnhance nursing department and hospital reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments./li/olpstrongPosition Requirements:/strong/pulliProper licensing in state of the job./liliMust be experienced in administering oral, topical, optic, ophthalmic medications and subcutaneous injections./liliPrevious CMA experience and must also be a Certified Nursing Assistant./liliMulti-tasker, able to proceed in a courteous and professional manner./li/ulh2About Us/h2pThe CareOne mission is to define excellence within the health care community.
