We build innovative systems that drive measurable results for commercial enterprises and government agencies. AKIVA is a certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB).
Position Overview AKIVA is seeking a Workforce Analytics and Reporting Specialist to produce the data, dashboards, and reports that demonstrate AKIVA's performance against contractual service levels and provide the client with clear, actionable insight into their contingent workforce. This role translates raw staffing, payroll, and compliance data into monthly status reports, KPI scorecards, and ad-hoc analyses required by the contract. AKIVA pairs this role with AI-assisted analytics and natural-language-to-SQL tools that accelerate reporting automation and narrative generation.
Key Responsibilities
Produce the monthly and quarterly performance reports required by the contract, including placements, SLA attainment, fill rates, time-to-fill, time-to-start, and contractor attrition
Build and maintain dashboards that track response and placement SLAs in near-real time, and proactively flag risks to the Account Manager
Prepare financial and utilization reports, including billable hours by department, overtime analysis, budget burn, and forecast versus actuals
Produce compliance and audit reports (I-9 status, background clearance status, required training completion) in partnership with the Compliance and Payroll Specialist
Respond to ad-hoc data requests from client stakeholders within agreed-upon turnaround times
Continuously improve reporting automation using the ATS, timekeeping system, and business intelligence tools, and reduce manual report build time
Conduct quarterly workforce trend analyses to inform sourcing, pricing, and capacity planning
Present findings during quarterly business reviews and working sessions with client HR and Finance
Required Qualifications
4 to 7 years of reporting, analytics, or workforce operations experience, preferably in staffing, HR shared services, or public-sector contracting
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; working proficiency in SQL and at least one BI platform (Power BI or Tableau)
Experience extracting data from ATS and timekeeping platforms (for example Bullhorn, iCIMS, VNDLY, BeeLine, Kronos, ADP, Paychex)
Strong understanding of staffing KPIs, SLA measurement, and public-sector contract performance reporting
Exceptional attention to detail, data governance awareness, and data storytelling ability
Clear written communication, with the ability to translate analytics into narrative insights for non-technical client leaders
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Human Resources, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field
Experience automating reporting with Python or Power Query
Familiarity with VMS platforms (Fieldglass, Beeline, VNDLY) and data warehouse concepts
Prior experience supporting California public-sector contracts and prevailing-wage reporting
PMP, CAPM, or Lean Six Sigma certification
