About

Senior Salesforce Developer, Rockwell Automation, Inc., Milwaukee, WI Provide technical guidance and leadership to the development team. Architect and design scalable Salesforce solutions that meet business requirements. Lead the development of custom applications, components, and workflows using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and other Salesforce technologies. Customize Salesforce CRM platforms to enhance user experience and meet specific business needs. Oversee the integration of Salesforce with other systems and tools to ensure seamless data flow and functionality. Utilize APIs and middleware to connect Salesforce with third-party applications. Conduct code reviews to ensure best practices, coding standards, and security protocols are followed. Implement testing strategies, including unit tests and automated testing, to ensure the quality and reliability of the code. Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Act as a liaison between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to ensure clear communication and understanding of project goals. Mentor junior developers and team members, providing training on Salesforce best practices and development techniques. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team. Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources to ensure successful project execution. Participate in Agile or Scrum methodologies, leading sprints and stand-up meetings as needed. Maintain comprehensive documentation of development processes, system configurations, and technical specifications. Ensure that all changes are documented and that knowledge transfer occurs within the team. Monitor system performance and usage metrics to identify areas for improvement. Implement optimizations to enhance the performance and efficiency of Salesforce applications. Keep abreast of the latest Salesforce features, updates, and best practices to leverage new functionalities. Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies that could enhance the Salesforce ecosystem.
Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, IT, Electronic, Electrical or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience.
Alternatively, employer will accept a master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, IT, Electronic, Electrical or a related field and 3 years of work experience.
Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience in all of the following:
Salesforce Apex Coding
DevOps, CI/CD, automation, version control, and testing strategies
Salesforce Platform Expertise: Salesforce features, metadata, and best practices
Automation Scripting
Visualforce
Lightning components
Configuring leads, tracking opportunities, closing deals, support tickets, resolving issues, campaigns, analyzing results, and driving leads in a CRM platform
MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, Salesforce integration patterns, platform events, and external system integration methodologies
Jira for bug tracking, task management, and release planning
Jira integration with CI/CD pipelines and other DevOps tools
Telecommuting permitted up to 5 days per week; candidate may reside anywhere in the U.S.
Domestic travel required up to 10%.
