Ascen is seeking a Sales Representative to manage business development and client acquisition. This role focuses on representing the company at industry events and managing the full sales cycle for our back-office platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating industry partnerships, and demonstrating the value of our software suite to prospective staffing firm clients. Key Responsibilities
In-Person Representation: Attend up to 20 industry events annually, including travel within the United States, United Kingdom, and Canada. Outreach Coordination: Manage professional messaging and scheduling with prospects both prior to and following scheduled events. Lead Generation: Engage with event attendees to build a pipeline of qualified prospects. Sales Operations & Partnerships
Relationship Management: Develop and maintain long-term relationships with industry partners and key stakeholders. Product Demonstrations: Conduct technical demos and sales presentations to explain the platform's capabilities. Full-Cycle Sales: Manage the sales process from initial outreach and discovery calls through to closing. Qualifications
Industry Experience: +2 years of professional experience in staffing, PEO, EOR, or payroll services is preferred. Travel Flexibility: Ability and willingness to travel internationally as required by the event schedule. Communication Skills: Ability to clearly communicate complex financial and back-office processes to potential clients.
