Our clients is a leading distributor of industrial process control, pressure protection, control systems, and services in the southwest region of the US including North, East, West Texas, Oklahoma, Western Arkansas, and New Mexico. The Final Control Sales Associate serves as a post-sales and post-order resource to internal and external customers for technical and commercial information. This role will service all three units that make up the Final Control Business Unit. These units include Pressure Management (PMG), Isolation Valves & Actuation (IV&A), and Flow Control. Essential Duties And Responsibilities: Support Sales/Engineering with appointed duties to assist in selling activities including order processing, generation, and administration. Interface with factory personnel and vendors in areas of product delivery, accounting, order status, special pricing, returns, and other areas. Maintain professional relationships with key customer contacts and enhance the customers' post award experience. Assist other when called upon, as well as production, accounting, and the warehouse with order entry and other requirements involving orders. Continual cross-training between multiple Review customer orders prior to order entry for pricing/tax verification, tagging, addresses (shipping and billing), & quantities. Prioritize orders based on identified delivery requirements and complete order entry in a timely manner to meet customer deadlines. Monitor open order report and take actions to prevent late deliveries with keeping details current and effectively communicating with the sales team. Ownership of prioritized requests/tasks requiring both external and internal company communication. Handle other duties as required for sales team to include sending order confirmations, order status, and tracking information. Completion of documentation requirements on all orders where applicable. This includes working with credit and documentation specialist to fill documentation requests by customers. Provide switchboard relief as needed. Basic understanding of products represented and sold. Qualifications: Basic knowledge of Supply Chain Management and Accounting principles. Knowledge of order generation and order entry procedures. Sales Associate or equivalent training in detail-oriented sales support or customer service roles. Ability to follow up with customers on order status/tracking with proven methods. Computer software skills: Windows, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). SAP or similar ERP experience are a plus. Ability to manage a demanding workload with a high level of organization and adhering to deadlines. Work in team environment with an eagerness to work with other Physical And Mental: Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing in English. Work in a team environment with an eagerness to work with others. Ability to operate office machinery (telephone, copier, fax, PC). Ability to comprehend complex information, perform math calculations, logical reasoning, manage ambiguity
