The Purpose of This Role The
Sales Development Representative (SDR)
is a full-time, remote position at Snappy Kraken. Accessibility requirements are dependent on the role but could be expected during standard business hours Monday through Friday. This position is open to any candidates currently residing and eligible to legally work in the United States or Canada.
At Snappy Kraken, we help financial advisors grow their businesses through smarter marketing and better engagement. This role plays a direct part in making that happen.
We are looking for someone who is energized by starting conversations, building relationships quickly, and creating new opportunities where none existed before. This is a pipeline-building role with a strong outbound focus, supported by inbound momentum from a high-interest market.
This position will report directly to the Rev Ops Director.
Primary Role & Responsibilities You will help create new pipeline and strengthen existing momentum across our go-to-market efforts. This is an active pipeline creation role, not one that relies solely on inbound or marketing-generated leads.
Identify and engage financial advisors and enterprise prospects that match our Ideal Customer Profile
Lead thoughtful outbound outreach across phone, email, and LinkedIn
Respond quickly to inbound interest and convert it into qualified meetings, while maintaining a strong focus on outbound prospecting
Build rapport quickly with decision makers and industry professionals
Qualify opportunities clearly and consistently
Partner closely with Account Executives to support opportunity progression
Maintain accurate pipeline activity in HubSpot
Test messaging approaches and contribute ideas that improve how we prospect
Support a collaborative team environment focused on shared outcomes
This is a production role. You will be measured on meetings created, pipeline influenced, and contribution to revenue growth.
Outbound is the priority in this role. You should be comfortable initiating conversations with professionals who may not yet know about Snappy Kraken.
Primary Qualifications
Demonstrated experience working toward goals and delivering measurable outcomes
Background in roles such as:
Outbound SDR or BDR positions with activity or meeting targets
Retail leadership or high-performing sales environments
Call centre roles with conversion or performance metrics
Customer-facing roles with ownership of results (not just service)
Inbound qualification roles with consistent lead progression to opportunities
Proven ability to create opportunities, manage conversations, and follow through on goals
Comfortable initiating conversations with professionals and decision-makers
Personable and confident communication style without being overly pushy
Strong organizational skills and consistency in execution
Curiosity about how clients (e.g., financial advisors) grow their businesses
Resilience and persistence, especially when outreach requires multiple attempts
Motivation driven by measurable progress and team success
Ability to work independently while staying connected and collaborative with a team

As of April 2026, the expected base compensation range for this position is a base of
$50,000- $55,000
USD/
$50,000- $55,000
CAD based on country of residence. This role is also eligible for additional performance compensation predicated on reaching quota goals. Pay will be based on several factors, such as experience, certifications, location, market conditions, and other business and organizational needs. Snappy Kraken anticipates that the reasonably expected salary for this position could change in the future and retains the right to change or revisit the salary range according to business needs.
The pay range for this role is:
50,000 - 55,000 USD per year (Remote (United States))
50,000 - 55,000 CAD per year (Remote (Canada))
