Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain distributed analysis capabilities for large datasets. - Apply advanced knowledge of algorithms and data structures to improve software quality and performance. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex challenges in agricultural data management. - Evaluate and implement relevant technology stacks tailored to specific datasets. - Present findings and innovations at industry conferences and events. - Contribute ideas and insights to various projects, emphasizing the strength of concepts over organizational hierarchy. Skills: - Proficient in software engineering principles with at least 7 years of experience. - Strong expertise in Go programming language (minimum 2 years). - Experience building and maintaining data-intensive APIs using RESTful architecture (minimum 2 years). - Familiarity with stream processing technologies, particularly Apache Kafka. - Comfortable with Unit Testing and Test Driven Development methodologies. - Knowledgeable in containerization technologies such as Docker. - Proven ability to build and manage cloud-based infrastructure on platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. - Experience in data modeling for large-scale databases, both relational and NoSQL. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred). - Relevant certifications in cloud computing or software development are a plus.
