Company Description
Our client is a well-established and leading manufacturer of Rubber and elastomeric products, components and bespoke solutions, primarily for the Oil & Gas, Industrial & Chemical, Defence, Rail and Marine Safety markets. The business is embarking on an exciting period of change and they currently seek to appoint a talented, experienced and hands on Sales Manager, with future leadership potential, who can deliver business growth and profitability.
The Role
Reporting to the MD you will take responsibility for developing and executing sales strategy in order to maximise sales, drive growth and profitability and enhance customer satisfaction levels. You will also be accountable for:
* Developing a strategic plan to target and win new business.
* Leading from the front, developing major accounts and driving new customer acquisition, retention and loyalty.
* Cross sell existing products to similar markets as well as broadening the product offering.
* Working closely with the MD and Technical Director to overview development of new products and assessing their commercial viability.
* Build and lead a strong sales team with a focus on people development.
* Operational reporting, weekly forecasting and budget/P&L management.
* Drive the business to the next level.
