Must Have Technical/Functional Skills:
Technical:
" Strong experience in Azure Synapse Analytics
" Hands-on experience with SQL Server
" Strong programming skills in Python and PySpark
" Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF)
" Experience with Azure Storage / OneLake
" Hands-on experience with Azure Cosmos DB
" Experience with Kusto (Azure Data Explorer)
" Experience working with Microsoft Fabric
" Strong understanding of Data Engineering and Data Warehousing concepts
Functional:
" Strong understanding of Lakehouse architecture and data loading patterns
" Experience in building enterprise-scale data pipelines and analytics solutions
" Ability to work with large datasets and ensure data quality and consistency
" Strong understanding of ETL processes, data transformation, and modeling
" Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
" Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Roles & Responsibilities:
" Work across unified analytics platform using Fabric workloads including Cosmos, Kusto, Data Factory (ETL), Synapse Data Engineering (Spark/SQL), Synapse Data Warehousing (SQL), and OneLake
" Design and implement scalable data loading patterns, Lakehouse architecture, and orchestration processes for enterprise analytics
" Prepare, clean, and enrich data ensuring quality checks and consistency
" Develop and implement semantic models for BI and self-service analytics
" Build and manage data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF), Synapse, Cosmos, and Fabric pipelines for batch and incremental data ingestion
" Automate ETL workflows and create parameterized pipelines for scalability
" Develop ETL pipelines to transform raw data into optimized formats such as Parquet and Delta
" Create views, stored procedures, and dimensional data models for reporting and analytics
" Monitor and optimize data pipelines and workloads for performance, cost efficiency, and high availability
" Analyze system performance using DMVs in Synapse and implement workload management strategies
" Implement security best practices including role-based access, encryption, governance policies, and Managed Identity
" Automate governance and compliance processes to reduce manual efforts
" Build monitoring and alerting systems using Logic Apps for proactive issue resolution
" Collaborate with architects, analysts, business teams, and offshore teams to deliver scalable solutions
" Enable Power BI integration for reporting, dashboards, and visualization
Good to Have:
" Experience with Microsoft Fabric ecosystem
" Exposure to advanced analytics and reporting tools
" Experience in automation and process optimization
Qualifications:
" Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field

" Excellent technical, analytical, and business understanding
