We are looking for a motivated Procurement Development Specialist (m/w/d) to join our Procurement Department in Eschborn.
In this role, you will support HQ Procurement activities with a strong focus on factory and physical procurement across multiple business units. You will play a key role in shaping procurement standards and processes, supporting tendering activities, and driving improvements across sourcing, contracting, and supplier management.
As part of our team, you will take ownership of a variety of exciting procurement and supplier development activities, including:
- Support global supplier sourcing, selection & negotiations (RFIs/RFQs)
- Work on procurement of transport, logistics & equipment (road & rail freight, trucks, trailers, material handling, etc.)
- Conduct market, supplier & pricing analysis to support sourcing decisions
- Contribute to the development and improvement of procurement processes & tools (incl. GPMS)
- Support supplier management and vendor performance evaluation (VPE) activities
- Prepare insights, reports & dashboards for procurement decision-making
- Collaborate with internal teams across multiple business units to drive procurement excellence
- Degree in Transport, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
- Experience in forwarding, logistics operations, or procurement operations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Planning and organizational abilities
- Negotiation and project management skills
- Market and industry understanding
- Fluent in English and German
- Czech or Slovak are a plus
