Data Analytics (Oracle & SQL)
Location: Trenton, New Jersey – Hybrid 3 days onsite a week
Duration: Long Term Contract
Job Summary Job Summary
We are seeking a
Technical Scrum Master with strong experience supporting data analytics initiatives , specifically involving
Oracle databases and SQL-based data analysis . The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of
data-driven solution delivery
and experience facilitating Agile teams working on
data analysis, reporting, and database-centric projects
within large enterprise environments.
Pharmaceutical domain experience is strongly preferred .
Key Responsibilities
Serve as
Scrum Master
for Agile teams delivering
data analysis and reporting solutions
Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including
Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement
Partner with Product Owners to manage backlogs related to
Oracle database development, SQL analysis, and reporting tasks
Identify and remove impediments impacting
data extraction, analysis, reporting, and database performance
Coordinate closely with
data analysts, SQL developers, DBAs, and reporting teams
Track sprint metrics and communicate delivery status, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders
Ensure Agile delivery aligns with
enterprise SDLC and data governance standards
Required Skills & Qualifications
10+ years of overall IT experience with 5
+ years as a Scrum Master
Proven experience supporting
data analytics or data-centric projects
Strong understanding of
Oracle databases and SQL-based data analysis
Experience facilitating Agile delivery for
database, reporting, or analytics teams
Proficiency with Agile tools such as
Jira, Confluence , or similar
Excellent
written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in the
Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences domain
Exposure to
regulated environments
and data compliance standards
Agile/Scrum certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent)
Experience in
large enterprise organizations
Soft Skills
Strong facilitation and stakeholder communication skills
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and data-focused teams
Proactive problem-solving and risk management mindset
