Job Title: Network Engineer
Client: National Defense University
Location: Washington, DC
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure, focusing on security and access control.
2. Configure and troubleshoot Cisco Identity Services Engine (Client) solutions for network access control, authentication, and authorization.
3. Integrate Cisco Client with Active Directory, RADIUS, and other network systems.
4. Develop and implement network security policies, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
5. Monitor and analyze network performance, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
6. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration with other network systems and applications.
7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and Cisco product updates.
## Requirements:
1. 8-10 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on security and access control.
2. Strong knowledge of Cisco Client, including configuration, troubleshooting, and integration.
Knowledge of Comply-2-Connect/Zero Trust Architecture.
3. Experience with network protocols (e.g., RADIUS, TACACS+, DNS, DHCP).
4. Familiarity with network security principles, including AAA (Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting).
5. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Certifications:
CCNA OR CCNP
CompTIA Security+ CE
