Technical Sales Representative
to join their team in
San Leandro, CA. In this role, youll work directly with customers to upgrade and modernize their elevator systems essentially bringing older equipment up to todays safety, performance, and reliability standards. We are especially interested in candidates who have sold modernization, retrofit, or upgrade projects in industries such as HVAC, facilities, building systems, or other service-based environments. Youll spend your time between the office and the fieldmeeting with clients, visiting job sites, and staying closely connected to your projects. This role drives modernization sales efforts, including estimating, proposal development, and contract execution, within a longer sales cycle. What Youll Do: Be a Trusted Advisor:
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients. Help them see the value of upgrading their current systems through thoughtful consultation. Own the Process:
From prospecting and presenting bids to contract execution and customer follow-up, youll manage deals from start to finish. Grow the Business:
Identify leads, schedule calls, and convert opportunities using proven sales strategies and marketing tools. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical aptitude and a drive to grow. Collaborate & Deliver:
Work together with operations teams, visit job sites, ensure timelines are met, and maintain top-notch communication throughout. Drive Project Execution:
Take ownership of projects through installation, including coordinating submittals, managing project changes, and ensuring client satisfaction and deadlines are met. Stay Sharp:
Keep up with elevator codes, product updates, pricing, and the latest from suppliers to always offer the best solutions. What You Bring to the Team: 3+ years of experience in B2B or technical sales (elevator experience strongly preferred). Bachelors degree preferred. Strong attention to detail and follow-up habits. Comfort managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Confidence presenting to clients and leading meetings. Bonus: Salesforce experience and the ability to read blueprints or technical drawings. Location: San Leandro
In-office role, including local travel required to client sites and projects. Compensation : Salary range: $70,000- $105,000 plus monthly commission 0 10% based on product line and margins. The role offers a car allowance and fuel card.
