About

Our client is looking to hire Civil Engineers at all levels, to join their team working across the HV, Energy and Renewable sector. They operate across Ireland, the UK, and mainland Europe, delivering next-generation solutions across Data Centres, Pharma, Medical Devices, and Renewable Energy systems. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for the management, coordination, and delivery of all civil elements from tender through to project completion. The role will have a strong focus on safety, civil design coordination, and quality assurance to support electrical infrastructure requirements. The successful candidate will work closely with project teams, engage with client representatives, and coordinate with subcontractors from mobilisation through to final handover. The role also involves supporting the commercial management of civil subcontract works alongside the QS team. Key Responsibilities Review tender documentation and develop civil packages aligned with electrical and utilities requirements Assess subcontractor tender returns from a technical perspective Coordinate with civil and electrical design teams to ensure design alignment Manage interaction with client teams and processes throughout project lifecycle Carry out design reviews and ensure quality control prior to client submission Support and manage the design review process relating to civil works Assist in preparing subcontract packages in collaboration with project teams Oversee and manage civil subcontractors throughout project delivery Coordinate with electrical construction teams to ensure correct installation and handover Track and support commercial variations with project QS Liaise with subcontractors on design changes and project modifications Ensure compliance with all client systems and contractual requirements Manage sub-consultants and contractors Deliver projects safely, on time, and to a high standard Support and develop team members where required Candidate Requirements Degree in Civil Engineering (or related discipline such as Energy/Renewables) 5+ years experience with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 main contractor Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Experience with setting out, design coordination, and AutoCAD Strong organisational skills with attention to detail Ability to influence and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams Comfortable working in a high-performing team environment Flexibility to travel as required Whats on Offer Competitive annual leave package Pension contributions Private healthcare contribution Life and disability cover Employee wellbeing support programmes Ongoing training, CPD, and chartership support Opportunities to work on international projects
