Essential Duties
  • Consult with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions.
  • Writes up customer's vehicle problems accurately and clearly on repair order.
  • Provides a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts while establishing accurate "promised time" to customer.
  • Contacts customers regarding any changes in the estimate or promised time, explains cost and time requirements in detail, and gets proper authorization before any additional repairs are performed.
  • Reviews repair orders to ensure that work is completed and additional work and authorization is noted.
  • Explains completed work and all charges to customers.
  • Make outbound calls based on lists provided by management to drive business.
  • Answer inbound calls and work with the BDC to schedule your book of business daily.
  • Exceed minimum monthly performance based on metrics provided by management.
  • Engage with the customer and build rapport.
  • Establish a business model to grow consistently year over year.
Qualifications, Experience, Education, Certificates, Licenses, Etc.
  • High School graduate or GED
  • Minimum 2 years Service Advisor experience
  • Technical Training or Advisor training school graduate to obtain your Degree in Automotive repair or Diesel repair recommended but not required.
  • ASE certification in at least one skill level recommended but not required.
  • Excellent Customer Service abilities
  • Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and clean criminal history.
  • Detail oriented and excels in a fast-paced, results driven environment
  • Comfortable with negotiating
