divh2Stocking Associate/h2pThe Stocking Associate performs various merchandise stocking duties both in Receiving on the Sales Floor./ppEssential Functions:/pulliSupports a strong commitment to world class customer service and ensures a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers./liliOrganizes and manages back stock daily./liliReplenishes product on shelves and in back stock as required per Merchandising guidelines./liliUnloads trucks as needed./liliRemains Product expert through ongoing product knowledge training./liliRemains knowledgeable of advertised sales and plan-o-grams./liliAssists with pricing maintenance and signing./liliKeeps work area clean, neat and well stocked with supplies./liliFollows all Company Policies and Procedures./liliAll Other Duties As Assigned./li/ulpExperience/Qualifications:/pulliMinimum Degree Required: High school diploma or equivalent experience./li/ulpKnowledge, Skills, and Ability:/pulliAbility to calculate figures such as discounts and make change to customers/liliAbility to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other associates/liliAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, co-workers and customers/liliAbility to operate computerized Point of Sale register system/liliAbility to read label descriptions and stock merchandise by UPC codes/li/ulpTravel Requirements:/pulliN/A/li/ulpPhysical Requirements:/pulliConstantly move, lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds/liliConstantly stand and/or walk for prolonged periods/liliConstantly repeat motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers/liliOccasionally ascend or descend ladders, stairs, ramps, etc./liliOccasionally operate machinery and/or power tools/liliOccasionally communicate with others to exchange information/liliOccasionally move objects up to 100 pounds or more/liliOccasionally work in tight and confined spaces/liliOccasionally work in low or high temperatures/liliOccasionally work in outdoor elements such as precipitation and wind/liliOccasionally work in noisy environments/liliOccasionally work in hazardous conditions/liliOccasionally work in small and/or enclosed spaces/li/ulpIndependent Judgement:/pulliPerforms tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation.
