JOB DESCRIPTION
Role:
Pega Software Developer supports the development and maintenance of system-level applications, contributing to the performance and scalability of backend systems throughout the contract period.
The developer will work as part of the project team to translate detailed designs into functional software components.
Responsibilities include supporting testing, debugging, and refinement of applications to meet project requirements, as well as assisting in the preparation of program-level and user-level documentation.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
:
Support the implementation of Pega solutions, ensuring alignment with existing infrastructure.
Assist in executing IT strategies and maintaining systems to meet organizational objectives.
Contribute to system design, deployment, and performance optimization activities.
Support compliance with regulatory standards and information security protocols.
Follow and promote best practices, coding standards, and development frameworks.
Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to established standards.
Assist in evaluating emerging technologies for potential integration.
Collaborate with team members and leadership to align technical solutions with business goals.
Support coordination with Pega vendor for service requests and issue resolution.
Assist in identifying and resolving Pega platform-level 508 defects.
Contribute to the development and reuse of design patterns and components across applications.
MINIMUM EDUCATION /CERTIFICATIONS
7+ years of experience in IT development with a focus on Java and Pega, including front-end and back-end development and workflow-based applications.
Working knowledge of Java, Pega platform, and application development best practices.
Certified as a Senior System Architect is required
Strong understanding of software development processes
Ability to work within contract deadlines and deliverables
A Bachelor of Science (BS) in computer science (CS) or a related field.
