HM Notes: we are looking for IT PM (really leaning more a product manager) that is willing to learn and strong communication Focus should be JIRA, ServiceNow & exciting about their work!
This role functions more like a Product Owner rather than a traditional Project Manager.
This is the fourth time the hiring manager has requested this position.
The previous candidate was ideal—eager to learn and highly adaptable.
Looking for someone with basic Python command knowledge and a solid understanding of the language's foundational concepts (not a developer level role).
Candidate will oversee approximately 35 applications, including 3–4 deployments, and will manage end-to-end release activities—from working with development teams, establishing baselines in JIRA, coordinating each development phase, and executing weekly production deployments.
The environment is not fully agile—it is a hybrid model blending product delivery and traditional release management.

Day to Day:
Technical Project Manager responsible for monthly software release management processes
Focus on code quality, execution of manual regression testing and support automated Junit(s)
Collaborate with infrastructure teams and impacted users to coordinate environment change
Point person for Incident Management including communications, resolution and root cause
analysis
Create technical and knowledge documentation, define and drive new procedures
Participate in on-call schedule (supporting Northern Virginia time zone), and other related
management and technical duties
