Lead testing projects, including the planning, testing and coordinating of testing activities Coordinate test activities of multiple teams, including but not limited to business, development and project teams Design and implement test strategy for projects and develop estimates for new test projects Develop test cases for bug fixes and for enhancement/new functionality Problem isolation on reported system bugs Coordinate with business in understanding reported issues, requirements and expected behavior Create and prioritize test cases for Bug fixes, small, medium and large/complex projects, including identification of risks and dependencies Coordinate test case review sessions with business users and development teams Report software defects; raises issues/concerns regarding issue prioritization Qualifications: Undergraduate degree in CS/CE/CIS/MIS or Engineering/Technology or related field or equivalent experience/training At least 5 years experience in software testing/Quality Assurance (QA) Good SQL skills and good understanding of relational databases Strong software analysis skills Good analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities Understanding of Quality Management and "best practices" with regard to testing techniques, methodologies, processes, tools, artifacts, and measurement Thorough knowledge of software development life cycles Experience testing web-based applications Good verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively facilitate meetings Strong customer service focus Ability to effectively meet deadlines and prioritize projects in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment Agile experience is a plus Experience with automated testing tools a plus Please Note: Resume will never be submitted to our direct client company without your prior knowledge and consent to do so
