divh2Assistant Bakery Operations Manager/h2pThe Assistant Bakery Operations Manager (ABOM) is a leadership pipeline role designed to develop the next generation of Bakery Operations Managers. ABOMs are expected to operate at near-BOM level, executing bakery operations with urgency, accuracy, and accountability while building the leadership skills needed to run a bakery independently./ppThis role blends hands-on operational excellence with talent development, administrative ownership, and team leadership. ABOMs act as a true extension of the BOM and must be capable of stepping into full bakery ownership when needed./ph3Key Responsibilities:/h3ulliOperational Execution/liliExecute all core bakery operations including inventory rotation, scheduling support, staffing coordination, and administrative checklists/liliMaintain strict adherence to product quality, cleanliness, food safety, and guest experience standards/liliSupport ordering, inventory accuracy, and shrink control/liliAssist in schedule creation and labor execution to meet operational targets/liliTalent Team Development/liliSupport recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training of new staff/liliDeliver consistent coaching and real-time performance feedback/liliHold team members accountable to standards while reinforcing a growth mindset culture/liliEnsure onboarding and training programs are executed to company standards/liliLeadership Ownership/liliManage bakery operations independently in the absence of the BOM/liliModel urgency, accountability, and operational discipline/liliPartner with BOM and Area leadership to identify operational gaps and implement solutions/liliMaintain continuity of operations during leadership transitions or staffing shortages/liliOther duties as assigned/li/ulh3What Success Looks Like:/h3pAble to independently execute all BOM-level administrative and operational tasks/ppBakery is fully staffed, trained, and operating at high standards/ppStrong culture of accountability and consistency/ppActs as a reliable operational leader during any coverage scenario/ppDemonstrates clear readiness and upward mobility toward a BOM role/ph3Qualifications Experience:/h3p1+ year leadership experience in restaurant, retail, or hospitality operations/ppStrong operational discipline and attention to detail/ppAbility to coach and develop hourly team members/ppComfortable working in fast-paced, high-volume environments/ppAbility to perform all bakery roles during peak business periods/ppStrong communication and problem-solving skills/ph3Sweet Position Perks:/h3pCompetitive pay + bonus eligibility: $20.00 - $22.00/hr/ppMedical, dental, vision pet insurance/ppPaid vacation + wellness days/ppCareer development pipeline into BOM leadership/ppFree cookies every shift/ppFun, fast-paced team culture/ppAbout us:/ppInsomnia Cookies was founded in a college dorm room by then-student, Seth Berkowitz.
