Overview: Seeking an
FPGA Design Engineer
to develop FPGA solutions for
high-voltage electronics, I/O hardware, control systems, and video processing applications
across advanced vehicle platforms. This role partners closely with systems, software, and hardware engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop
FPGA architectures and logic solutions
Support
new and legacy FPGA designs
Collaborate with systems, software, and hardware engineers
Translate requirements into executable engineering work packages
Implement and integrate
Xilinx and third-party IP cores
Create custom IP using
VHDL and Verilog
Develop timing constraints and perform
timing closure
Debug designs through
simulation and lab testing
Use revision control and issue tracking tools to manage development
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
5–10 years of FPGA design experience
Experience with
Git
or similar version control systems
Experience with
Jira
or issue tracking systems
Experience with
Xilinx FPGA toolchain : Vivado, ISE, SDK, Vitis
Experience with
Xilinx FPGAs and CPLDs
Experience with
VHDL and/or Verilog
Understanding of
basic electrical circuits
Preferred Skills:
Experience with
Zynq Ultrascale+ MPSoC , ARM processors, AXI bus, PS-PL interfacing
Experience with protocols:
PCIe, USB, Ethernet, DDR, I2C, SPI, CAN
Experience with video interfaces:
LVDS, HDMI
Background in defense, automotive, or ruggedized embedded systems
