Job Title: Salesforce Developer
Location: Boston, MA (Remote)
Job Type: Contract
Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end technical solutioning for Salesforce workstreams (design| build| test| deploy| support) Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs (HLDLLD) and guide implementation Conduct code reviews| enforce standards| and ensure security performance best practices Mentor developers guide estimation| sprint planning| and delivery commitments Coordinate with Architects| Admins| QA| and Business Analysts provide technical leadership to stakeholders Own production support triage| RCA| and preventative improvements
Must-haves:
Apex, SOQL/SOSL, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura/Visualforce/ Sales and Service Cloud, SDLS 2.0
Hands-on development with Apex, SOQL/SOSL, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura/Visualforce
Strong experience on Sales Cloud and Service Cloud; data model & security (roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing)
Integration experience using REST/SOAP APIs; understanding of integration patterns (sync/async, platform events)
Experience with DevOps/CI-CD, release management, branching strategy, and deployments
Strong debugging, performance tuning, and governor limit optimization
Salesforce Certifications: Platform Developer I/II, One of Sales/ Service Cloud consultant certification
Knowledge of GIT, JIRA, Jenkins, or automation pipelines.
Exposure to Salesforce DevOps, Monitoring, or Debugging tools Define solution architecture and technical roadmap for Salesforce programs Drive design decisions for data, integration, security, and non-functional requirements Review existing implementations to identify opportunities for improving performance, security, and reusability Establish best practices, reference architectures, and guardrails for delivery teams Collaborate with enterprise architects and stakeholders; support estimations and delivery planning Ensure deployment quality through CI/CD processes (Copado) and follow best practices.
