Job Title: QA Manual Engineer
Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical
QA Manual Engineer
to ensure the quality and reliability of our web and/or mobile applications. The candidate will be responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining test cases, identifying defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze business requirements and technical specifications.
Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases and test scenarios.
Execute manual test cases and record test results.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts.
Participate in requirement review and sprint planning meetings.
Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing.
Validate API responses using tools like Postman.
Perform database validation using SQL queries.
Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) activities.
Ensure software meets functional and non-functional requirements.
Required Skills
Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
Experience in manual testing of web and/or mobile applications.
Ability to write clear and comprehensive test cases.
Good knowledge of defect lifecycle.
Experience with bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.).
Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation.
Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, Swagger).
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
Basic knowledge of automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, etc.).
Experience in CRM, ATS, HRMS, or enterprise SaaS applications.
Knowledge of performance and security testing concepts.
Experience in cross-platform testing (Web + Chrome Extension).
Experience Requirements
2 5 years of experience in Manual Testing.
Experience working in Agile environments.
Experience handling enterprise-level applications preferred.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
