Key Requirements
Experience:
5+ years in mechanical design
Education:
BSME preferred
Core Skills:
Electromechanical design of machinery
Design of tooling (dies, molds, jigs, fixtures)
SolidWorks + PDM environment
Role Overview
Design, develop, validate, and support mechanical/electromechanical systems (machines, instruments, plastics, controls, etc.)
Work on new product programs (e.g., Triton, Sensight NG, Micra, Voyager)
Support R&D to manufacturing transfer
Improve system performance, cost, and efficiency
Responsibilities
End-to-end product design (concept → implementation)
Perform analysis, validation, and problem-solving
Recommend design/process improvements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors
May lead projects and mentor junior engineers
Work Environment
Independent contributor with minimal supervision
High ownership of projects and decision-making
Strong communication with internal/external stakeholders
Screening Focus (for AI/recruiter)
Hands-on SolidWorks + PDM experience
Electromechanical product design background
Tooling design exposure
Experience in product development lifecycle (R&D → manufacturing)
