Requirements & Skills: Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or closely related major. Five (5) or more years of relevant experience Post-Bachelors or Masters degree may substitute for relevant experience Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education Language Expertise: Highly Proficient in C, C++, Assembly Operating Systems Experience: VxWorks, Linux Tools:
JIRA, Confluence, R4J Agile/SCRUM, Waterfall and Spiral Development Experience preferred Experience working in a highly regulated environment, i.e. aerospace, aviation, military or medical fields Familiarity with DO-178 or other high level-of-rigor development/test/verification environments:
​​​Applicable use of Statement, Decision, and MCDC Coverage analysis
Other Desired Skills: Experience developing space flight software is desired Familiarity with Command and Telemetry and use of CCSDS for communication with space assets Experience with NASA - CFS framework Understanding of Computer Aided Engineering tools Practical knowledge of engineering principles and practices Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams Understanding of additional industry-standard software languages such as C, C#, HTML, Java, Python, and Bash Experience with software tools for requirements tracking, code reviews, static analysis, library and artifact repository, and automated build Experienced with data structures IMPORTANT NOTICE: To conform to U.S. Government international trade regulations, applicant must be a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State or U.S. Department of Commerce.
